Calendar of events for residents

We pride ourselves on building a welcoming, inviting home for all residents and the centrepiece of this is our communal noticeboard. The heart of the home, this is filled with daily events, notices and personal birthday greetings for residents. Examples of the regular events taking place include:

• DAILY: internet sessions for residents to send and receive emails and photos from their family, with help on hand
• MONDAYS: Numeracy skills sessions and Mobile Library visits
• TUESDAYS: Scrabble and Jigsaws, Quoits and Skittles in the main lounge
• WEDNESDAYS: Word Skills sessions
• THURSDAYS: Scrabble and Jigsaws in the main lounge, plus Reminiscence - come and share your favourite memories
• FRIDAYS: Shop available in the dining room
• SATURDAYS: Blockbuster movie night in the main lounge, Musical Movement sessions
• SUNDAYS: Pampering afternoon with facials and manicures

Seasonal and special events

We always ensure our residents enjoy all the comforts of home at those special times of the year, including a seasonal calendar of events especially for the Christmas season including;

• Christmas lights tour
• Mince pies and mulled wine evening
• Communion in the guest lounge
• Visit from St Paul's choir
• Christmas songs sing-along
• In-house pantomime
• Christmas quiz and bingo
